Brighton Astro

As one of the leaders of Brighton Astro this project was close to my heart. From the beginning Brighton Astro was not going to be a typical science society, we were determined to be more inclusive and to encourage people who wouldn't normally go to such events. The design really reflects that independent streak, I developed a friendly, dog character to be the symbol of that inclusiveness, knowing it wouldn't intimidate the less confident members insecure of their knowledge. The fonts and colours are fun and give give us a 'welcoming warmth' feel right across a very broad audience
