ACUK - Calypso in London
Calypso in London is a culturally significant book that celebrates the history of Caribbean culture in London. The main challenge was to find a look that evoked both a West Indian and Anglo feel. Note how the strong header font adds a confident flamboyance while the well organised type keeps it ordered. The images of the singers were so great I just had to find a way of displaying as many as I can knowing that the community would love to see them and that this is a book of record to be both entertaining but also a point of reference.
